Events

Big or small, in-person or online, events are important to me as they allow me to foster connections with my community and peers. In the photo to the left I lead a Q&A with author Anya Kamenetz and a small group of donors. Scroll through and click on the images below to learn more about the events I have planned and helped coordinate!

Newsletters

I enjoy uplifting my colleagues' work and our community through newsletter communications. I believe in brevity and empathy in my writing, taking care to know my audience. To look at a special newsletter series I composed, I recommend you read my National Poetry Month Challenge emails. You can also view a sample of a fundraising email and monthly/weekly community emails to the right.

Social Media

Communities can very greatly on social media, but they're always a great way to stay connected to your audience and have some fun. I've worked on a variety of social media projects, designing templates and offering creative direction or overseeing the entire process from pitch to publish. Click around the tiles to see samples of my work!

Campaigns

Marketing has the power to touch people when there is clear purpose, strong copy, and good design. To the right, I am pictured with a group of colleagues for a holiday parade, part of a holiday campaign I ran which included on air-promos (click on the photo to listen!) and a special holiday card to strengthen our relationship with our listeners and promote the upcoming holiday programming. You can read about some other campaigns I worked on below.

We were
wondering...

In this initiative I queried listeners on their opinions to create informative and fun web content. Some favorites include:

Sustainers for Life sessions

My colleagues and I spoke on how to develop lifelong relationships with donors through a world cafe-style session at the 2022 Public Media Development & Marketing Conference and a follow-up webinar in collaboration with Greater Public.

all things considered ads

In collaboration with my team, I launched the "News from your backyard and beyond" campaign to promote All Things Considered. Combining on-air promotion, print and digital ad placements in addition to social media assets produced by my intern, we promoted the show and saw an increase of listenership.

Pride drive - book drive for north star lgbtq+ center

To help NorthStar celebrate their 10th anniversary Wake Forest Queer Affinity Group led a book drive and cleanout for their library, I coordinated the launch of this campaign with Banned Books Week and organized a digital and poster campaign to spread word.
